Ann Sanders
Ann Sanders began her media career in her home town of Perth in 1978, working for TVW Channel 7 for 5 years. She moved to Sydney in 1983 and began work for Channel 10, as a reporter and later presenter of Ten Eyewitness News. She moved across to Seven in 1988 and presented for many programmes including 11AM and Australia's Most Wanted, before settling in to co-host the 6pm Seven Nightly News bulletin with Ross Symonds. At the end of 2003 the duo's nightly role was taken over by new Nine recruit Ian Ross, which saw Ann move to presenting the weekend 6pm bulletin solo.
 
   
Phil Small
Phil began on radio as the coordinator of a racing program on 2XX. In 1987 he moved to 2CA to produce News Talk Radio, and later became weekend announcer on the 'Midnight to Dawn Shift'. In 1989 he moved to ABC radio, and when Canberra was aggregated in 1989 he began reporting for Win Television. He later became Sports Editor and started presenting sport for the weeknight bulletin.

Tracy Spicer

Tracy left university and began her career at 4BH as a cadet journalist, before moving to 3AW Melbourne to become chief police reporter, and later breakfast news editor. She joined Southern Cross Television Gippsland, where she presented the nightly news and covered the court and industrial stories. She was taken up by GTV9 Melbourne, as a news and current affairs reporter for Melbourne Extra and National Nine News, before switching to ATV10 as a reporter. She transferred to Brisbane to co-present the TVQ10 First at Five News. She moved to Sydney in 1995, where she continues presenting national bulletins like the 11.30 News and Late News.

Karl Stefanovic

With a Queensland University of Technology journalism degree in hand, Stefanovic began working for WIN-TV Rockhampton and Cairns in 1994, before making the move to New Zealand working for TV One. In 1998 he returned to Australia at Channel Ten Brisbane, but moved to Channel 9 in 2000. He was appointed to Nine's Sydney newsroom in 2002, and became co-host of the Today Show with Tracey Grimshaw in 2005.

Sandra Sully

Sandra began working for Ten in 1991, at the parliamentary bureau in Canberra. She co-hosted Good Morning Australia in 1992, and the following year became co-anchor of Ten Sydney's First at Five bulletin. She presented for Ten throughout the 90's which let her to become one of Ten's best known personalities. This saw her move from the Sydney bulletin to the national Ten Late Night News. On September 11, 2001 she was the first Australian newsreader to break the terrorist attack news to Australia.
