Ray Martin
Ray was a news reporter as ABC's New York correspondant in the early 70's, before joining 60 Minutes in 1979. He left to become host of the Midday Show in 1985, and in 1994 he took over from Jana Wendt as the anchor of A Current Affair. By now he had become a hugely popular television personality, winning a total of 5 Gold Logies. On the last ACA show of 1998, Ray unexpectantly announced his retirement, and handed the show over to reporter and stand-in presenter Mike Munro. After a short break from television, only occasionally appearing to do specials for Nine, he returned in 2001 to host The Ray Martin Show, interviewing celebrities and newsmakers. In Feburary 2003 he returned to host ACA to try and rescue it from the tabloid style it had adopted over the years.

Peter Mitchell
Peter began as a cadet at GTV9 in 1977, where he stayed on to do mostly sports presenting for 10 years. He moved to Seven in 1988, presenting the weekend news and doing a lot of odd jobs for the next 12 years, from the Olympics to Today Tonight to The World Around Us. He was promoted to the weeknight bulletin in late 2000 after Seven axed the David Johnston/Anne Fulwood combination.

Ali Moore
Ali started as a cadet with the ABC in 1986, spending almost 10 years reporting on both radio and television. She joined the Nine Network in 1995, working on Business Sunday, which she now presents.
