Brett Lavaring
Brett Lavaring began his media career at BTQ7 Brisbane in 1984, working with ugly Dave Gray on Play Your Cards Right. He moved to Mount Isa to work in radio, before moving back to television in the early 1990's as a weather/news presenter in Townsville. He joined Prime Television Tamworth in 1992 as a sports journalist, before going on to become producer and anchor of the bulletin. He transfered to Newcastle in 1995 to present Prime Local News, where he stayed until the news bulletin was axed in June 2001. He was then offered a job at ABC Local Radio, where he continues today.

Peter Leonard
Growing up in the ACT region, Peter began work at 2CA in the early 60's. In 1970 he began radio and television work for the ABC, and in 1988 was offered the position as weather presenter on ABC TV's new 7pm news, in which he later acted as presenter. Since then he has moved to Win, where he presents the Canberra bulletin every weeknight.
 
   
Paul Lockyer
Paul began as a cadet at ABC Perth in 1969, then moved to ABC Sydney as a general reporter. He relocated to Canberra in 1976, before traveling as a foreign correspondent to Bangkok, Washington and Singapore in the early 80s. After this he spent 11 years at Channel Nine, working on the Midday Show, A Current Affair and Sunday. He returned to the ABC in 1999 by becoming an Olympic reporter for ABC Sydney, where he won a Logie for most outstanding TV News Reporter in 2001. He became presenter for the 7pm TV News bulletin at ABC Perth in 2005, but was moved to the national Midday Report in 2006.

Tony Lynas
Tony worked for 3SR Shepparton from 1988. He moved to VIC Television, where he hosted The Morning Show for 2 years, and was also the snow reporter at Thredbo for Channel 10's Good Morning Australia. In 1993 he joined Win Television in Canberra, where he now presents the weather and is the backup news presenter. He also presents weekend evening updates for the Canberra and Illawarra regions.
 
   
Garry Lyon

After a successful AFL career captaining the Melbourne Demons, Lyon began appearing as a panellist on The Footy Show and commentator for Channel 9 and 3AW. He eventually took over reins as host of The Footy Show in 2006, and was a presenter for Nine's coverage of the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
