Jo Hall
After 20 years as a reporter and relief newsreader at GTV9, Hall was promoted to weekend anchor in 1998.
 
   
Jennifer Hansen
Hansen was a reporter and occasional newsreader for ATV10 Melbourne in the 80's and 90's, before she became the weeknightly female newsreader in 1996, replacing Marie-Louise Thiele who transferred back to TVQ10 Brisbane.
 
   
Liz Hayes

Hayes began as a cadet journalist at the Manning River Times in her hometown of Taree, where she eventually rose to be assistant editor. She moved to Sydney to work on the magazines New Idea and TV Week, but after a few weeks made the transition to TV at Channel Ten's Eyewitness News. She was poached by Nine in 1981, reporting for National Nine News and soon presenting the 11.30 Morning News. She produced, presented, and won a Logie for a documentary about heart surgeon Dr Victor Chang in 1986, which led to her posting as host of the national breakfast program Today. In 1996 she was offered and accepted the position Tracey Curro left behind - reporter for 60 Minutes - where she continues today.

Peter Hitchener
Originally from Brisbane, Hitchener moved from TCN9 Sydney to GTV9 Melbourne in 1974. He was the Melbourne link in News Centre Nine in the mid-70s, before becoming weekend newsreader and relief to Brian Naylor in 1978. He was a breakfast presenter on 3AK in during the 80's, and in 1998 he took over from retirering Brian Naylor to read Melbourne's weeknightly National Nine News.
