Fiona Ferguson
Originally from QTV in Bundaberg, Fiona is Prime News’ “jack-of-all-trades” at their Tamworth newsdesk with Fiona filling most roles on a semi-permanent basis as well as reporting the news around the Tamworth area.

Mark Ferguson

Ferguson started as a cadet journalist at NEN-9 Tamworth in 1984, before moving to NRTV Lismore in 1986 then Channel Seven Brisbane in 1987. Moving further north, he started work at Seven's Cairns bureau, and then traveled throughout Europe and Britain. He returned to Australia in 1991 resuming work with Seven, but was poached by Nine in March 1992. He spent 3 years at Nine's London bureau from 1994, before returning and taking up more presenting roles. He joined Good Medicine in 2000, began National Nine Morning News in 2001, and took on the prestigious role of Sydney's National Nine News anchor in 2005.

 
   
Heather Foord

After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Queensland, Foord worked briefly as a researcher for Good Morning Australia before joining Channel 9 Brisbane in 1987. She became the weekend presenter 6 months later, and in 1992 started co-presenting the 6pm weeknight bulletin. After a 3 and a half year break from the weeknight pressure, she returned in 2005 to co-present with Bruce Paige.
