Melissa Doyle
Melissa graduated from Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, before moving to a cadetship in Canberra at WIN Television in 1990. She moved over to Prime as anchor of the 6pm bulletin in 1992, before becoming a political reporter for the Seven Network's Canberra Bureau in 1995. She moved to Sydney to host the local version of Today Tonight for a period in the late 90s, before it was taken over by the Melbourne based show. She did general presenting for Seven after this, as well as filling in for Naomi Robson on the networked TT. She then became co-presenter of Seven's revamped breakfast show Sunrise, helping make it a serious competitor for Nine's Today.
