| Prime unveiled it's new look ident and logo at 5:30pm, Sunday January 23, 2005. The logo is similar to one Channel Nine's NineMSN Internet service had previously used.

| 2004 |
| Prime introduced their national news bulletin in Feb 2004, scheduleding it at 5.30pm before any of the other nightly bulletins in NZ (hence the name 'First at 5.30'. It is produced in Sydney by Sky News Australia, and uses many of the design aspects of Sky bulletins. The opener is original though, but uses some parts of the Nine Network news openers to match the Channel Nine bulletins shown on Prime NZ throughout the rest of the day.

| When Prime became an affiliate of the Nine Network Australia in 2002 they also adopted the same on-air look. Almost all aspects are the same except for a different jingle featuring the new Prime slogan 'Turn It On' and a revised closing scene of the ID for the Prime sphere logo.
