Married to an a**hole..?

.. Well Brisbane newsreader Marie-Louise Thiele feels your pain. She was married to one, and is seen here winging to her co-anchor about him after an ad break in 2000. The next night she apologised on-air, though we imagine she had more work to do at home.

Technical difficulties live on!

From Channel 7 in Adelaide, this blooper proves yet again how dangerous live TV can be. I wonder what happened to the apes?

The Price Is Wrong

How does Larry stop himself from laughing?

The camera's rolling, guys

There is either a terrible communication problem inside Martin Place, or the studio crew like playing jokes on the Sunrise team over summer. During the 2005/06 holiday period as Mark Buretta and Natalie Barr were hosting Sunrise, the crew failed to mention to the presenters they had actually returned from the ad break... Funny stuff!

The hyena laugh

Not a blooper as such, but a memorable moment from The Price Is Right in 1994 that was ranked #15 on Channel Nine's 20 to 1 Unscripted and Unplanned Moments . Contestant Nik is chosen to come on down, but Larry quickly realises she has a rather peculiar laugh..

Today's forecast is....zzzzzzz

A classic blooper of ABC weathergirl Elizabeth Wilson getting a little sleepy during her on-air report.

The perils of reading auto-cue

The now infamous recording of Today Tonight's Naomi Robson venting her anger at another staff member about the scripting of her autocue. It was uncovered and broadcast by Triple J in 2005, however the actual recording dates back to Naomi's time on morning news program 11AM. Warning: this file contains offensive language.

How safe do you feel?

TV News rule #74: when people are standing stationary in the background during an outside shot, there's a pretty big chance they were deliberately put there by the crew for greater visual effect...

If you can't beat 'em, play 'em

As the 6pm Sydney news battle between Ian Ross on 7 and Jim Waley on 9 was just starting to intensify, this audio blooper on National Nine News shows just what lengths the network would go to to bring fans of Ian Ross back to Nine!
